We migrated existing legacy reports into interactive Tableau dashboards, embedding them directly into the client’s existing application used for tracking regional sales and inventory. The dashboards provide critical insights for inventory planning, helping the regional team make data-driven supply chain decisions.
The Tableau Server runs in the cloud, with access controlled by the application’s Access Control List (ACL). This layered security model allows different importers to view only the data relevant to their specific country, ensuring data confidentiality while providing regional leaders with a holistic view of the entire region.
The embedded Tableau dashboards have made our inventory planning significantly more accurate. The layered access control is perfect, as it gives each importer the insights they need without compromising our regional data security.
